Story About ZESO Blooms & Victor

ZESO Blooms founder story with preserved roses in Canada

Hello everyone, I am Victor, the founder of ZESO Blooms.

I arrived in Canada not long ago, and this beautiful country made me feel at home. People here are kind, warm, and always smiling. There is a peaceful feeling in everyday life that makes you want to build something that lasts. That sense of warmth was the starting point of what later became ZESO Blooms.

Before starting ZESO Blooms, I had never worked in the floral industry. For almost twenty years, my background was in retail and UI/UX design, and although I always loved flowers, I never imagined myself working with them professionally. The turning point arrived when an old friend in China invited me to see the preserved flower farm and production facility he had built.

His farm grows fresh roses that are later transformed into preserved roses through a detailed dehydration and color-stabilizing process. When I saw the scale, the cleanliness of the workshop, and the level of quality control, I immediately realized something: preserved roses could solve a real problem for people living in Canada, especially during long winters when fresh flowers are harder to enjoy and rarely last more than a few days.

That was the moment ZESO Blooms was born. We wanted to bring real preserved roses to Canada—flowers that stay beautiful for years instead of days. If you want to see our collection, you can explore it here: ZESO Preserved Roses Collection.

I will be honest: when I first heard about preserved flowers, I didn’t believe they were real. I assumed they were plastic or artificial. But when I visited the farm, touched the roses, and even gently pressed and broke the petals in my hand, I realized they were completely real. They feel soft like fresh roses, except they simply do not wilt, fade, or collapse. They keep their natural shape and texture for years.

There is no artificial shine, no plastic smell. Sometimes there is only a soft natural scent from the preservation ingredients. The experience changed my entire understanding of what flowers could be. It felt like the beauty of a fresh rose, frozen perfectly at the most beautiful moment.

To be honest, I rarely bought flowers as gifts before. Maybe that was my mistake. But after learning the entire process—from farming to preservation—I became convinced that preserved roses deserve a place in everyday life. They last longer, reduce waste, and give people the chance to enjoy real flowers without watching them fade so quickly.

For me, a good business is built on two foundations: a good product and good service. I am proud of the service standards we hold at ZESO Blooms, and I trust the quality of every preserved rose we offer. That combination gives me confidence that we can bring more beauty to every home, all year long.

No matter the season—spring, summer, autumn, or the deepest winter—I hope ZESO Blooms brings a moment of gentle, lasting beauty into your life. And if you have never touched preserved roses before, I hope one day you can experience them the way I first did.
