What is ZESO Artists?
ZESO Blooms™ started as a small studio in Calgary, focused on preserved roses, dried florals and long-lasting flower gifts. We realised something important from the very beginning: the real magic doesn’t only come from products on a shelf – it comes from the creative people who turn flowers into stories, memories, and art.
That is why we created ZESO Artists – a program for floral artists, florists, designers and flower lovers who want to create with preserved and dried flowers, and also build a small (or big) business from their ideas.
Why create with preserved & dried flowers?
Fresh flowers are beautiful, but they fade fast. Preserved and dried flowers are different. They keep their colour and shape for months or even years, which makes them perfect for creative projects, statement pieces and limited collections.
At ZESO Blooms™, we work with real preserved roses and carefully selected dried florals. They are long-lasting, light to ship, and easy to combine with other materials like wood, resin, ceramic, glass or fabric. For an artist, this means:
- Your work can be displayed for a long time without wilting.
- You can ship pieces across Canada without worrying about them dying on the way.
- You can design slowly and thoughtfully, instead of racing against time.

How ZESO Artists works
The idea behind ZESO Artists is simple: you focus on creating, we help with the rest.
As a signed ZESO Artist, you receive special discounts on ZESO Blooms™ floral supplies – preserved roses, dried flowers and tools – so you can experiment freely and build your own style. You are always welcome to mix our materials with your favourite ribbons, vases, frames or any other mediums. It is your art, your signature.
Once your pieces are ready, you have options:
- Keep them as part of your personal collection or studio display.
- Sell them independently through your own channels.
- Let ZESO Blooms™ help you sell – we can display your work on our platforms and promote it to our audience.
For every piece sold through ZESO Blooms™, we follow a transparent model: after tax, 75% of the sale amount goes back to the artist. Pricing is set by you, because you understand the value of your work, your time and your materials better than anyone else.
Who is ZESO Artists for?
ZESO Artists is designed mainly for creators in Calgary and across Canada who:
- Love working with preserved and dried flowers.
- Already make small arrangements, accessories or home décor pieces.
- Want to turn a hobby into a side business or a long-term project.
- Prefer to focus on design instead of dealing with all the marketing and backend work alone.
You do not need to be a full-time florist or have a big studio. Maybe you are a designer who enjoys flowers on weekends, a florist curious about preserved roses, or an artist who wants to mix florals with resin, illustration or sculpture. If flowers are part of your language, there is a place for you in ZESO Artists.
Why we believe in this program
ZESO Blooms™ itself was created by Victor – a programmer, not a traditionally trained florist. From the beginning, the goal was clear: build a brand that respects craft, creativity and long-lasting materials, and then invite the right people to shape its soul.
ZESO Artists is our way of opening the doors. Instead of only selling finished arrangements, we want to support the people who imagine new ways to use preserved roses and dried flowers. Over time, we hope this program will become a small community of floral creators, where ideas are shared, collaborations happen, and unique work finds the right audience.
